Mindset I Resolutions Meet Reality...

As high as 90% of resolutions will likely fail and there might be an 80% chance of failure in other goals. Did you write resolutions this year? There are a few stumbling blocks that might be getting in the way…

Too many and too much. 1 habit is enough to work on at a time. 1 habit a week is 52 habits a year.

Too much and too soon. This can make you a real pain to be around. Avoid it.

Too hardcore (especially in beginning). Willpower fails 100% of the time over time. Can you hold your breath indefinitely? 

Too rigid. Make room for life and error. No one slip up should lead to a derailment.

Too vague. Create specific actions that you can hit each week. Make it tangible.

No measurement. If you can track you can better improve (daily, weekly, monthly). This process is not easy. It takes real work and regular fights against your old nature. Build systems and guardrails to avoid much drifting. Humans drift. Render will power and discipline obsolete through systems.
